I have to admit that I have a great sled. While it's not the most kid friendly snowmobile it's an absolute blast to ride. 800 cc's of well tuned Liberty Power coupled to a 1.5 track has excellent floatation and acceleation. That said, the bigger track loves to go in straight lines, which lead to a foward push through the corners. If there was an area where I wanted to improve the handling of my sled, this was it. It being a good year for snow here in the Wallowa Mountains of Eastern Oregon we decided we should spend a little time on a sled this winter. How could we not? It is only 15 minutes from our house to the unload zone for miles for great sledding.  Enter the number of teeth on the top and bottom sprockets and the center distance in inches between the drive shaft and jack shaft to have the calculator determine the proper chain pitch. Then enter the number of cogs on the drive sprocket and the engine RPM to have the calculator figure the MPH for the gear ratio and engine RPM.
