Race weekend at Wild West Motorsports Park near Reno, Nevada brought out some strong competition as the chase for the championship begins to wind down. Rounds 9 and 10 in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series are now in the books, so let's run down what happened.

Pro 4

Kyle LeDuc, the points leader going into the weekend, started on the pole with Doug Mittag right behind. But it was Carl Renezeder who put on the big show, passing both of the aforementioned drivers to claim the lead and take his third win of the season. Despite a strong performance, Renezeder only made up one single point on second-place LeDuc, who took home an extra point for running the fastest lap.

Renezeder started at the front of the pack on Sunday, while LeDuc's contention ended early when he made contact with Greg Adler. RJ Anderson threatened Renezeder, and at one point took the lead, although a caution flag would cause RJ to move back to second. Once back green, Renezeder had mechanical issues and Anderson jumped out in front and held on to win his first Pro 4 victory.

Pro 2

In Pro 2, Anderson also took home his first win on Saturday. Sunday's win went to Jeremy McGrath, who still sits in first position in the points and has since Ensenada. A flipping truck made Sunday's race exciting, the result of Deegan trying to pass Ampudia. After the caution was cleared, Deegan pushed all the way to the front, but couldn't get by McGrath who held on for the win.

Production 1000 UTV

Brock Heger had a huge weekend, sweeping both Production 1000 UTV races and taking home a win in the Pro Lites on Saturday. He started that race and lead all the way to the checkered flag.

Sunday's Pro Lite race saw Heger come second behind Jerett Brooks after a hard fought battle.
