NSA Pro Stock sleds make inaugural appearance at Maple Grove Raceway

Maple Grove Raceway is a legendary NHRA track located in Mohnton, PA and is entering its 46th year of operation.  This nationally acclaimed facility is continuously improving the racing experience and has recently undergone several major improvements.  The NSA series is looking forward to competing at MGR on Saturday, June 28th.

NSA returns to New England Dragway in 2008

The NSA Pro Stock sled series is pleased to announce that it will be making three appearances at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire this season as part of the NED Special Event series – June 14, July 12 and August 9.  These exclusive events at NED receive top billing making them excellent platforms to showcase the worlds fastest naturally aspirated sleds.

4th Annual NSA Pro Stock Asphalt Challenge at MIR

The NSA Pro Stock asphalt snowmobile series will be returning to Maryland International Raceway on August 16, 2008 for the fourth time in NSA history.  MIR is a legendary drag racing facility located in Budds Creek, Maryland and is best known for its near sea level racing surface.  In 2007 during the NSA race at MIR, Paul Austin set a new track record and National Pro Stock 1000cc record with an 8.354-second pass during eliminations.  Austin followed up his record setting run with an incredible 8.213-second pass in the next round! 

NSA Pro Stock sled series adds IHRA National event

In its pursuit to produce the best in Pro Stock Asphalt sled racing, the National Speed Association is pleased to announce a sixth points event at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, Ontario this season as part of the IHRA Canadian Nationals on September 19-21, 2008.  The International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) is a world-renowned drag racing sanctioning body which contests 11 National events per year for its Professional ranks.  Toronto Motorsports Park is the premiere drag strip in Ontario and has been home to Professional drag racers for over 50 years.  This prestigious event falls at the end of the NSA asphalt season making it the perfect venue for an incredible points finale!  We’ve seen 3 different Points Champions in 3 years of NSA racing and Toronto will determine if we have our first repeat winner or if a new champ will be crowned!
