The National Speed Association Pro Stock Asphalt Sled series is pleased to announce a brand new points program in 2008 for NSA asphalt racers.  In light of the ever-changing economy, Dave Wahl of Wahl Bros Racing has created an excellent program for NSA racers who might not be able to attend all 6 NSA points events. 

Wahl Racing will be sponsoring the “Wahl Bros Racing Asphalt Challenge” series this season, which will be a separate points series within the 2008 NSA Championship Points program.  The Wahl Racing Asphalt Challenge Points Series will be comprised of the following three NSA events:

June 28 – Maple Grove Raceway, Mohnton, PA

July 12 – New England Dragway, Epping, NH

August 16 – Maryland Int’l Raceway, Mechanicsville, MD

NSA will track a separate points system for these 3 events and the top four places in this points series will be paid out after the Maryland race as follows:

    1st - $800        2nd -  $400        3rd -  $150        4th -  $150

The first place finisher in the Wahl Bros. Racing Asphalt Challenge series will also receive a Limited Edition Wahl Racing trophy!  Each racer must be a member of NSA to compete in the Wahl Challenge series, but no extra membership fees or additional entry fees will be required.  A special thank you goes out to Dave Wahl and Wahl Bros Racing on their continued support of the NSA Asphalt series.
