SuperClamp Your SledTake the Easy Road! - Snowmobile Trailer Accessories

It being a good year for snow here in the Wallowa Mountains of Eastern Oregon we decided we should spend a little time on a sled this winter. How could we not? It is only 15 minutes from our house to the unload zone for miles for great sledding.

Noooooo, not in a snow snowstorm.

So starting with a couple used sleds and a two place open snowmobile trailer we hit the hills. It has been awesome. BUT I quickly discovered an issue that toned done the whole experience. That issue was fighting to strap down the sleds at the end of the day and especially when a storm moved in and you  are running around in the storm trying to get sleds in place so you can get  the heck out of dodge.  Have you experienced this? Well being new to this I figured there MUST be a better way.

After doing a little research I discovered Super Clamp.  It did not take much to convince me I had to try a set of these SuperClamp II's.  So I ordered up a set and in just a few days I had a set on my doorstep.
A complete set of front and rear SuperClamp II's .The install instructions are printed right on the box.

Remove your existing system then screw in the new SuperClamp mount. You may or may not need to put a nut on the underside.

New Superclamp II's almost ready.Loosen this adjuster nut. This is what adjusts the tension on the clamp and allows it to fit varying ski's.

The SuperClamp simply slips under the trailer ring / mount when installing.

The small plastic key locks it in place OR you can add your own Master Lock.Adjust the tension knob the first time you load your sled.

Summary

Installation time of the front SuperClamp II was literally less than 15 minutes.  It was hard to believe how easy it was. Leave it to a couple of brothers in Canada to come up with such a great product.  Now we could enjoy our ride and not think about the frustration of strapping down our sleds at the end of the day. Bring on the snow storm and the darkness! We know we will have our sled loaded and tied down and we will be sitting in the cab while our riding partners are still loading.  Next month we will show you the rear SuperClamp's.
